A Bridgewater Chronicles Companion Book
This collection of short stories based on the popular Bridgewater Chronicles series. These vignettes portray the extravagant celebrations of the major holidays at Bridgewater and how those celebrations impact the Newkirk family and their guests. In addition we are privy to the other side of life as we are provided with a glimpse of these celebrations from the viewpoint(s) of the dedicated Bridgewater domestic staff. What transpires after the New Year’s Eve celebration? What is the story of the Jelly Beans? Why does Birdie go to the family gravesite alone? What really got served on Thanksgiving in place of the traditional turkey?
You’ll smile, laugh, and at times reach for the tissue box or lace-trimmed hanky as you learn how the holidays are celebrated at Bridgewater where oftentimes the preparation for the holiday is just as intriguing as the festivity itself. This slim volume will be the one to return to when you’re looking for something to get you into the holiday spirit.
