Happy Birthday America

The latest entry into The Bridgewater Chronicles Short Story arena is HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!

Just in time for your holiday reading too. This latest short story, like it’s predecessors, shows in better detail the contrast between the lives of the wealthy Newkirk family and the private lives of those who work for them. Loyalty aside, there is quite a difference in lifestyles. But also evident is the way the gap between those livestyles is bridged – mostly during holidays at Bridgewater. Once again we find the Newkirk family playing host to family and friends at one of their popular garden parties, this one to honor the birth of our country.

Find out what the Newkirks consider important on this day and learn just who will become America’s newest citizen!

I am so pleased to hear from readers about these short stories. It is becoming a tradition of sorts to take a few minutes to gather the family and read aloud these heartwarming stories in the tradition of Vintage Storytelling.

If you enjoy these stories, or have a special way of sharing them with your family and/or friends, please leave a comment. It gets a bit lonely on this side of the screen.

Happy Birthday, Americais available for Kindle at the inexpensive price of only 99 cents.
